Header image can be changed by two ways but for both of these ways we should consider the background of the blog to see the image we intend to upload goes with this background or not. Following are the way how you can change the header image.
1) Use "Page Elements" sub tab under "Design" tab
2) Upload you header image on web sites like PhotoBucket or ImageShack and then Edit the XML code of your template(Dont forget to download the complete template before you attempt it) in "Edit HTML" sub tab under "Design" tab. You will have to replace the background image of #top class with you own image.
Created new blog with some default template. Now I'll redesign it. The idea is to copy the template HTML, try to understand it and then modify it according to my needs.
